Hi, I’m Eleanor
I grew up in the north-west of the UK, on the Wirral before living in Durham, Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh and Bristol.
I’ve worked in the creative industries for over 10 years, in theatre, libraries, literary organisations, festivals, visual art, and collaborative multi-partner projects. Here you’ll see an array of the work I’ve done on many projects over the years, from Story Shop to Future DiverCities.
A writer and avid reader, I am always looking to be swept away to a new world, immersed in a new story. My love of reading, particularly genre fiction, has led me to work with some wonderful book festivals, bookshops, conventions and more.
Alongside my project consultancy, I lecture at The University of the West of England, Bristol, on media production, project management, marketing and communications, and the UK creative industries.
My research is creative-practice led, exploring independence and autonomy within collaborative storytelling, drawing on genre fiction, publishing models and role-playing games.
