Website consultant with Bristol UNESCO City of Film
Led by Bristol Film Office and developed by Bilden ltd, I coordinated the creation of a brand new platform for the UNESCO Cities of Film sub-group.
Over 20 Cities of Film are represented with background information, key spaces and cities champions, filming highlights from a city’s past and present and more.
FUTURE DIVERCITIES is an international collaborative project with 10 partners across Europe and Canada. Funded by Creative Europe, the project has sought to explore reenergising citizens with urban spaces using new media and digital artistic exploration.
Partners hosted artistic labs and explored new artistic approaches, all working towards bringing city spaces to life.
Future Divercities ran from June 2016 to June 2020. Since then, the project has developed further in a second stage with new partners.
STAR LIGHT, STAR BRIGHT is a project created by Bristol artistic company, Hellion Trace in Oxford in January and February 2017.
Winner of the Smart Oxford Playable City Award 2017, Hellion Trace made Star Light, Star Bright and mapped the star constellations visible above Oxford in the months of January and February. Each star was represented as individual, step-activated lights and people were invited to work together to turn on whole constellations.
This city-wide interactive installation brought life to dark winter streets, connecting strangers for a shared moment of discovery and wonder.
Story Shop is a collaborative project between Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust and the Edinburgh International Book Festival.
The programme invited local Edinburgh writers to apply to read their work at the Edinburgh International Book Festival. Starting in 2007, the programme was a huge success in the city and became a real landmark achievement for local writers looking to make their mark.
I had the pleasure to work on the project in 2015 and 2016.
